Large-scale landscaping and reconstruction works are planned to be carried out around the water reservoir located in the Yasamal district, which has been known for many years as ‘Qanlı Lake.’ According to the newly prepared project, the area surrounding the lake will be reorganized based on the concept of a modern urban park.

In recent years, extensive cleaning work has been carried out in the area as a result of the measures taken. With the involvement of specialized equipment, waste has been removed from the territory, and at the same time, sources of water pollution have been eliminated. As a result of these efforts, the ecological condition of the lake has significantly improved.

With the development of residential areas in the surrounding territories, this location has become an important part of the urban environment, creating favorable conditions for realizing its recreational potential.

According to the new project, continuous pedestrian and bicycle paths will be constructed along the perimeter of the lake, and observation platforms as well as waterfront recreational areas will be created. Extensive landscaping works will be carried out in the area, the shoreline will be reinforced, and a modern lighting system will be installed.

In addition, within the framework of the project, outdoor sports areas, mini football and tennis courts, and family recreation spaces will be established. The placement of pavilion-type catering and service facilities along the waterfront is also planned.

It should be noted that the implementation of the landscaping project has been entrusted to the company Kristal. The main goal of the project is to transform the area around the lake into a safe, accessible, and environmentally sustainable public space.
